2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly when you:
- Submit the contact form — we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), organisation name, and the message you write.
- Correspond with us by email or phone in response to a form submission.
We do not currently operate user accounts, collect payment information, or place tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiry or partnership request.
- Send you a one-time confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your message.
- Follow up regarding programs, demos, or workshops you have expressed interest in.
- Improve our website and services based on general usage patterns.
We will not send you unsolicited marketing emails without your explicit consent.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your data only with:
- Resend — our transactional email provider, used solely to deliver form confirmation emails. Data is processed under their privacy policy.
- Sanity — our content management system, which stores publicly-available website content only (blog posts, course listings). No form submission data is stored in Sanity.
- Vercel— our website hosting provider. Form submissions pass through Vercel's infrastructure to reach our API. No personal data is persistently stored on Vercel.
- Law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by law.
5. Data retention
Contact form submissions are delivered to our team email inbox and retained for as long as necessary to respond and maintain records of our correspondence. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info.beyondvichaar@gmail.com.
6. Your rights
Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request erasure of your data.
- Withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info.beyondvichaar@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
This website uses only functional cookies necessary for the site to operate (for example, to remember your session if applicable). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and restricted access to our email and infrastructure systems.
9. Children's privacy
This website is intended for schools, educators, and parents — not directly for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 13 years of age through this website. Student data collected through the Vichaar AI platform (a separate product) is governed by its own data processing agreement with the relevant institution.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
